Because the Wedge has no buttons, switches, or parts to operate, it suits anyone who finds hands-on setup or fine motor tasks difficult, as there is nothing to turn on or adjust
The elevation and support it provides can reduce strain on the hips, knees, back, or wrists during positioning, which may help where joint pain, reduced strength, or fatigue are a factor
It can also make transfers and positioning changes more manageable when a partner or carer is assisting, offering a stable surface that takes some of the physical effort out of getting into and holding a position

Unzip and remove the outer cover for machine washing on a cold cycle, then air-dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid bleach and ironing. The moisture-resistant liner underneath should stay in place on the foam; if it comes into contact with any fluids, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth rather than washing it.
